WIT Students raise a whooping €41,425 for local and national Charities

During Raise And Give week 2011 WIT Students raised an astounding €25,170 for Irish Charities. The nominated charities this year were Make a Wish Foundation, Irish Wheelchair Association, Housing for Boaco and Society of St Vincent de Paul. A representative from each of the charities recently visited WIT Students' Union to receive the cheques on behalf of their charities.

WIT Students have an excellent reputation for successful fundraising activities, which take place throughout the academic year. In total this academic year, 2010/2011, the Students of WIT have raised €41,425 through various fundraising activities organised by WIT Students' Union.
